Insurance: Capital Youth Services therapists do not participate as in-network therapists for insurance companies. All services are provided by licensed mental health professionals and are reimbursable by insurance plans on an out-of-network basis. The amount of reimbursement varies from plan to plan.

Maryland insurance law (Article Insurance §15-830) allows consumers to obtain a “single case exception” which allows consumers to access out of network providers if a specialty service is not available in the insurance network. The specialty services Capital Youth Services offers that have received single case exceptions include group psychotherapy and DBT. Please contact your insurance company for more information on obtaining a single case exception.
